Valentines Suprise

Blake and I had decided we weren't getting each other anything for Valentines day this year, so I was a surprised when I got to work on Friday and found these on the desk. The best part is he did it with no encouragement from anyone. P.S. they are tulips.

New House

Here are some pictures of our new house. We are still renting (unfortunately but you do what you have to do right). It is the upstairs of a duplex just a couple miles south of where we lived before.
This is the living room. Yes it is a real fire place.

This is looking into the dining room from the living room. We had to put the computer here because the only other phone connection was in the bedroom. These are the stairs we had to carry everything up. I tried to get bella to turn around but she wouldn't.
This is the back yard. We have a yard and the lady that lives downstairs has a yard, which is kind of nice.
This is the extra bedroom. Mostly storage right now.
This is our bedroom. It has two closets which is really nice. I am not sure what happened with this pictures( why it is shaped funny.)
This is the dining room. You can see bella's dog house. We put it there because we learned at the last house that she won't go in it if she can't see in the house still.
This is the washer and dryer closet. (Yes it is in the kitchen) I am still getting used to that.
This is the kitchen. Not huge but way more cupboard and counter space then last time.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

This is my Christmas tree.

This is Bella on Christmas Eve morning waiting for Blake so we could go to my mom and dad's. We got up at 4:00 to leave.

Christmas morning We didn't get up until 7:30 it was kind of nice.
I gave Blake a new ipod, his old one bit the dust.

I got two pairs of Ariat boots brown and black from Blake. I am so excited.
We (me, blake and my sisters) went in and bought my dad a double skeet thrower from Cabela's. If you can't tell by his face he was super excited. We shot it later that day but I forgot my camera, so no pictures. It was snowing anyway so I am not sure how great they would have been
This is one of my sisters Morgan (17) In case you can't tell she is Florida Gator fan.
Whitney (16) is a Texas fan.
I think that maybe that causes some tension on game day but they get over it.
I have one more sister( I know my poor dad) Paige (21) who I somehow failed to get a picture of.
(Sorry Paige I really thougth there was one)

This is the magnet board I made my mom.
It says "Family those you live with laugh with love"

Grandma Kay (mom's mom) with a book about the Mountain Meadows Massacre.
You can see the side of Paige's face in this picture.
I don't know if you can see out the window or not but they had about 2 inches of snow when we got there and then is snowed all christmas. We still don't have any snow here just 3 feet of wind as dad would say.

TWO YEARS!!!

Yesterday was our Two year anniversary. We took the afternoon off and went to Denver to the temple. It is a little bit crazy to think that we have been married for two years already. Sometimes is seems like a lot longer ( in a good way).

Primary, Truck & Thanksgiving

For those of you who don't know we teach primary . We teach the sunbeams (most of them are 4). When they are all there we have 7 of them it is crazy but they are fun. Here are some pictures from an activity we had just before thanksgiving. Me and Adri Bassett, her dad is our home teacher too so we see lots of her.
Drew Green she is a handful sometimes.
KeKoa Ah Loy. He loves Blake obviously. If Blake is not at church he asks me where my dad is and one week he asked Blake where is your mom ( referring to me). His parents are from Hawaii so he sometimes uses Hawaiian words for things which makes life interesting sometimes.
We also have two of the members of our bishoprics kids in our class.

This is Blake's new baby. It is a 1972 Ford F250 Hi-Boy ( if you know what that means give yourself brownie points I had no idea) He bought it for $1400 it actually runs really well it just needs front turn signals to be totally street legal. I think it looks like a piece of crap but he likes it so as long as he is happy.

This year Thanksgiving was a little bit different. We stayed here because of work, so instead of cooking for just the two of us we went to dinner with Blake's boss and her family. We ate at this restaurant called Perkin's. I had an actual turkey dinner ( it in no way compared to one you would cook at home but such is life) Blake as you can see (hopefully) had......
CHICKEN FRIED STEAK!!!!! (YUCK)
Later that night we went down to the event center and played around with some of the staff and their families. This is Blake using the golf simulator. It was a very different holiday then I am used to but it will make a normal christmas just that much better I think.

Just Life

I know it has been awhile since I have updated but that is mostly because we have kind of boring lives and I forget to take my camera lots so I don't have very many pictures. Life is good, Blake may be getting a promotion at the start of next year so that is exciting. We are trying to save some money to buy a house I will post when that happens. With the holidays coming I will have pics and updates more often. I promise.

Labor Day

For labor day weekend we went camping in the snowy range (west of Laramie) with Russell and Rashell. The first two pictures are of our camp site. We were back on a really rough side road so we had no neighbors.

This is a little pond that was right across the road from our camp site.
This is Sand Lake about 10 miles from where we camped. We went fishing here on Sunday.
This is the fish I caught.
We shot pop cans. This is Rashell shooting she hit more then all of the rest of us.
Me shooting
Blake shooting.
This is Bella with her toy lizard.
This is the end of a tree Blake cut down with his hatchet. We didn't have an ax to split the big logs that were left at our campsite.
This is the stump of the tree.
I thought this was a cool looking rock and I got bella to hold still on it long enough to take a picture.
